九州南部に位置する鹿児島県。シンボルの桜島は活火山で、煙をあげる姿を見ることができるでしょう。
また鹿児島県は100の温泉地があり、海辺の砂蒸し温泉、神降り立つ神話の霧島温泉、湯治の日当山（ひなたやま）温泉、など温泉の魅力も多彩。
そのほか、知覧の武家屋敷や、島津家の日本庭園、など日本の武士文化を見ることができます。
屋久島や奄美大島など離島への旅行は、船や飛行機などを使います。
