I am writing on behalf of the Administration Office of the Consulting Division at Hirayama Co., Ltd.

The TPS Practical Training Dojo, established in Toyota City, Aichi Prefecture in 2007, is celebrating its 16th anniversary this year. On November 28, 2023, the 570th session of the TPS Practical Training Dojo was held, marking a milestone as the total number of participants surpassed 10,000.

In 2023, a total of 860 individuals from various countries such as Japan, the United States, Brazil, Peru, the Netherlands, Austria, Germany, Italy, Romania, Hungary, China, Australia, India, Thailand, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, UAE, Pakistan, Ethiopia, and more, have participated in the TPS Practical Training Dojo.

From new employees both domestically and internationally to executives, individuals from diverse backgrounds visit the dojo to acquire the skills of continuous improvement. Some participants return for the training multiple times, attending the sessions two or three times.

Mastering improvement requires repetitive thinking and practice, and individuals, from novices to seasoned professionals, find value in refining their skills through this process.
